Timezone & Time Of Day

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed the time stamps being wrong on posts?

I just replied to a topic and when I did I noticed the time stamp on the post was one hour ahead of my actual time. So, I naturally went into User Control Panel to check my settings. They appear to be correct - Eastern Standard Time (UTC -5) with DST set to "Yes."

Also, when viewing the User Control Panel, the time of day displayed in My date format is also exactly one hour ahead of my current time. :?

I have DST set to No, and the time is correct for me.

I guess: "Summer Time/DST is in effect: ImageYes ImageNo" could be taken to mean whether DST is currently in effect or not.

So you're saying that twice a year I have to remember to go into the User control panel and change the option? I've not had to do that on other phpBB websites, if I remember correctly. :??:

EDIT: The option does say "DST is in effect" so maybe I was reading it wrong. I've changed the option to "No."

Also, slightly off subject, after receiving my first topic reply email notification on Monday the 12th, I did not receive an email when you replied to this topic. Hmmm :?

I don't know for sure. I guess we'll see in a couple of months (Mar. 8th).
