How to post pictures?

Dear admins
I have a noobie question. How do I embed images directly in a post? I've seen many members doing this but I could not figure out how to do it.
Even when the images are smaller than 50kb, Ctrl+C won't work
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.
Best Regards
Tasurinchi

You need first to upload your image elsewhere (like imageshack or picasa or similar) and then include a link to it in your post. Most such websites have various types of links that allow you to post from thumbnail to full screen (embedded in your forum post).

Thanks!
P.S.: Does the preview work when I insert a link from a page like Flickr/Picassa/Imageshack

If you just insert a link (like "http://...") then all you will get will be a clickable link (no thumbnail).
To get a thumbnail you have to insert a special piece of so called BBCode. BBCode is a standard limited formatting language used in forum posts. You don't have to know much about it as for example the
http://imageshack.us service will give you this piece of code - they call it "Thumbnail for forums (1)".
So shortly, all you need to do is to go to
http://imageshack.us, upload your picture and copy-paste the "Thumbnail for forums (1)" code into your post.
