Search function clever by half

Try searching for
IBM java
or
power jack
which are legitimate specific searches to limit number of responses.

(IBM java is a specific directory on my Thinkpad, jack by itself returns a zillion mentions of jack by itself including for audio connection.)

Forum software leaves out IBM and power.

Use Google to search this forum. It's much more precise.

Are you speaking of raw Google or some link from within this forum?

Google is not a precise search engine because it is based on popularity of URLs not logical searching.

Take another look at the link I provided, and substitute the words 'IBM Java' for other search words, then click on 'search'. Then look at the results.
Leave the URL preceding 'ibm java' intact, and leave a space between it and your search terms. Now, if you bookmark that, you'll have a google search engine for this forum only.
