THINKCENTRE M920q Tiny i7 8700T - (Upgrades and Accessories)

Today I finally find a Seller with RAM DDR4 memory 2 x 8GB 3200 1Rx8. It's all paid and now I'm waiting for seller to ship the package to me, hope without any problems. In the meantime the Win 10 Ent. LTSC x64 upgraded the BIOS/UEFI to new version, didn't ask for it, but they did that anyway. I have seen on System Update that the new version was ready there but why he did that automatically, don't know. I have nothing about upgrades, but now the small Sodial K-1000 keyboard don't work anymore. Can't get into BIOS with F1, only when the Win 10 is booted and visible on screen, after some while the Keyboard work again, but it takes some time, don't now why is now so. I know now why he made update, because it is set up in BIOS to made one. I will disable this option and when I found that there is update available i will change it for upgrade, but on my terms. The good news is that the small Sodial K-1000 keyboard is working again, don't know what was the actual problem. Looks nice but it's peace of junk, luckily that I mostly look YouTube, that is M920q for now.

Finally the ordered DDR4 RAM 1Rx8 8GB x 2 is arrived. I found 2 RAM from MICRON in very nice condition, the 260 pin contacts are shiny, no scratches so it's was on one place only and the labels are good. The price was decent, 31,96€ with free shipping, I paid actually only some protection 1,96€ that's all. The first RAMAXEL that I found was sold for 24,86€, just for one RAM, so I think this was a good deal. I can sold The RAMAXEL or leave it if I found another or some Lenovo laptops arrive with 8GB, who knows, will see. For now I'm happy to solved and upgrade the M920q with 16GB in total. With this two identical RAM memory I get the Dual-Channel Mode, what's nice and all for good price.

Next step was to install them, testing if everything is O.K. and accept the system 3200 instead 2666 memory. Everything vent fine, it's nice to see that the second DIMM 2 is not more empty. I don't feel anything is faster as before but I think the system runs cooler
and it's just P&P. I think it's definitely worth and for this price is a bargain. Merry Christmas Everyone!
