Hi!
Intel hase launched few days ago Broadwell processors for desktop users. I'm interested in adding the i5-5675C model to my M73 Tiny desktop. The processor consumes 65W of power and thus requires a 65W adapter. But can the system handle it? Even if running games will I be expecting thermal issues?

even if the BIOS is updated to support the new CPU SKUs, there's little chance that you'll be able to go from a 35W TDP to 65W TDP processor without serious thermal issues. +30W is a considerable increase in a chassis that small.
you'll need to find a different system if the new CPU is important to your application.

I think so too. Nothing to do but to wait for the BIOS update and 35W dekstop models to arrive. Any idea when Intel will launch them?
EDIT: so the BIOS update is apparently out (released 3 days ago). The list of changes dosen't specify other then "support for some CPU". Guess it's safe to assume that Broadwell is included?
