I just did a clean install of WIN2K on my PC300GL (6563-99U). I could not get it to boot from the CD. The BIOS showed the CD as the third boot device... that didn't work. I made the CD first... that didn't work. I made the CD the ONLY boot device... that didn't work either... it was still looking to the floppy as the boot device.
I finally did the install using a WIN98 boot floppy to load CD drivers, but this shouldn't have been necessary. Any ideas? (I'm sure at some point in the future, I'll need to boot this machine from a CD again...)
