what to do with a dead motherboard

I took the motherboard out of the m pro in my sig, and replaced it with one for a 6230-SBC. Is that ok? and what should I do with the dead motherboard?

Send it to a recycler, if there is one in your area...
...unless someone here wants a dead motherboard for the shipping cost.

it's from an intellistation M-Pro 6230-38U

Put it on ebay to make profit, I hear some people repair these components.
