Mobo type in Netvista

#1 Post by felixgogo » Sat Mar 15, 2008 1:23 am

All,

I have a great Netvista tower PC, but the CPU and main Mobo are just not fast enough to run video. I would like to upgrade this to a modern setup, (USB 2, SATA etc) but I am not sure of the mobo type.

It is a P4 2259-D7M (1.7Mhz) Netvista. The mobo appears to be 250mm square.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to determine which new mobo type to go for - ATX, ATX mini etc?

Many thanks!

Ian

Here is a good lead for you:

If that is the same model, it uses a FlexATX motherboard. The guy in the thread was able to modify it slightly and cram a MicroATX board in (which would be cheaper/easier to find).

I have a spare MicroATX mobo for my PC300s, and it measures almost exactly 245 x 245 mm.
