ThinkCentre A60 compatible with Athlon X2 7750? [Resolved]

Does anyone know if the ThinkCentre A60 line (to be specific I have machine type 8700-D5U) is compatible with the AMD Athlon X2 7750 processor? I currently have an X2 4200 processor. I do realize that owing to the weak power supply of the A60 this model is rated by Lenovo to only accept up through the X2 5000 processors, as higher clock speed traditional X2 cpu's use power hungry 90nm rather than 65nm architecture.

However, the X2 7750 is a completely new design which is backwards compatible with AM2/AM2+ motherboards. It is much more power efficient than the 95nm X2's, and despite operating at only 2.7 Ghz is able to surpass the X2 6400 (3.2 Ghz) in certain benchmarks. Online research suggests that so long as the motherboard BIOS is updated to accept the X2 7750 it should be compatible with computers several years old. Can anyone confirm whether it is compatible with the A60?

Any help here is really welcome and appreciated, as this desktop is used for some more processor-intensive engineering analysis tasks but I can't justify a new machine at this point...

I resolved this issue. Turns out AMD produced later models of the X2 series using the 65nm-die power efficient Brisbane core up through the X2 6000+ (3.1 GHz) model. I believe this is compatible with my machine.
