atheros ar5001x+ wireless network adapter pci driver needed

the subject is it, i have an ibm thinkpad r51 witch has atheros ar5001x+ wireless network adapter pci i have tried many drivers that i downloaded from the internet non worked I've tried the drivers at lenovo that didnt work nothing is working ive been working on this problem for than 6 hours any idea were i can sort this or if any one can send me the driver???!

Well, if it's the original card installed as from the factory, then this is the correct driver (link below). If it does not work then there is something else missing. Read all the dependencies, particularly those that mention access connections.

i have tried that and its Access Connections it didnt work any other suggestions
i am sure that the wifi card works great ive tried it on ubuntu, but on windows xp sp3 it isnt
