The fan of my new T60 with WinXP is running very often. When I change the power scheme, the fan goes off, but comes back on again quite soon. The CPU load is around 3%.
The fan is not very loud, but still annoying in a quiet environment. The air which is coming out of the air slots is not even warm! Is there a solution for a non-IT-specialist? Can this be solved?
I have a comparison. When my old Toshiba turned the fan on, the air was really warm! It hardly ever turned the fan on.
Any help would be appreciated!
