Strange fan behavior on T41

Hi guys,
I'm Dimitar from Bulgaria.
I've recently bought an used IBM T41 2373-5G7 (PM1.6GHz/ATi7500 32MB/HDD 40GB/RAM 1024MB). My system is equipped whit a SHORT FAN. I use NBH to get temperatures.
These days I'm reading lots of topics about fan issues and most of all reducing fan speed.
So my problem- when I turn on my NB it run very silent(CPU 33-40C/HDD 33-39C whit Mozzila an Winamp running)
So the fan isn't audiable and temperatures seems to be OK.
When I run some videos (loud up my GPU) CPU->45C(load 45-60%)/HDD->40(42)C and the fan rpm rises. If a close video applications a leave just Winamp and Mozzila within a few minutes fan automatically reduce it speed.
Next time i do that exercse (load up GPU) fan become audiable (high rpm) and never slow down nevertheless i leave my system at idle state.
So there really lot's of topics but they all say" use TPFC to reduce..." but I think it cures the symptom (high rpm) but not the real reason that causes it (high temp inside)
I cant get any GPU temps but as I'm with short fan and no GPU cooling is supported the only one way to cool down GPU is by creating an airflow inside-> higher fan utilization.
So if I slow down its speed its possible to overheat my GPU (witch I believe is the real reason)
From another point i saw that active cooling temp at NHC is missing witch can probably causes thah strange behavior.

So if the problem is in the missing readout how could I fix it or if it is in not cooled GPU should I get a LONG FAN instead of SHORT one.
