Forgive me if I am posting in the wrong place.
I have a Thinkpad 2647, not sure what model this makes it?
When bootings it asks me to enter bios to set the date etc, I am assuming the cmos battery is on the way out?
If so is it easy to replace it?
Thanks in advance!

2647 is either a T20, T21, T22 (all 1 USB port) or T23 (2 USB ports).
Download the manual from the HMM link above, to see how to replace your dead CMOS battery.
You can get those (2 pin CR2032) e.g. on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/323547736174
