Is it dumb to buy a used Ultrabay 2000 battery ?
- Sellers never tell the capacity or even hours left in the battery. They just say it is used ?!?
+ Is it easy to replace the batteries with new ones ?
- If the battery is dead is there nothing I can do to fix it ?

Unless the seller is someone you can trust and they can/will tell you exactly the condition of the battery, you should expect to get a dead battery. And there is nothing you can do to revive a truely dead battery.
