T23 Bootup: how-to modify the IBM Logo screen in Bios

I'd like to change the IBM logo screen that appears when my T23 boots. This is also known as the boot splash screen or bios select screen.

I found a procedure to do it here:

Another thing that you can try is create the image on your own, then google for a program called BootXP (v2.50). This program will do everything for you.

I now have a boot screen that has my name and number incase the laptop is stolen.
