I believe it has to be a low density ram stick. High density wont work.
IBM Lenovo 100s 14" / T61 14.1sxga / X200 tablet / Microsoft Surface Pro 2 256GB / T61 wide and 15.4" and an iPad Air 2 and Ipad Mini 2....

I can verify the fact that pc133 memory probably doesnt work on a t22. Just tried 1- 512 pc133 from my t23 on my t20, no post, no beeps.

A 128mb stick might work, but I would seriously doubt that a 256mb or greater stick would work.

I had a PC133 128mb stick that happened to work in a TP600E, which is obviously older than a T22.

PC133 256MB should work according to Crucial.com. I know my T22 has 2X 256MB PC100 and works fine.

From Crucial - T22 compatible memory (that they sell):
256MB SDRAM, PC133 • CL=2 • Non-parity • 133MHz • 3.3V • 32Meg x 64

128MB SDRAM, PC133 • CL=2 • Non-parity • 133MHz • 3.3V • 16Meg x 64
T22, 900MHz PIII-M, 512RAM, 40Gig 5K100, 14.1XGA, DVD, 802.11b
