How Do I Add Memory to my old T22?

#1 Post by sdmahr » Wed Apr 19, 2006 1:21 pm

Hello. I just purchased more memory for my T22. Can someone give me or refer me to instruction on EXACTLY how to install this?
I am not great with hardware. Also, I used to have one of the wristbands that grounded you, however - I cannot locate it. Is there another way to do this safely? Thanks for not laughing at me :) Susan

After Installing the 256 MB Extra Memory in my T22

#3 Post by sdmahr » Wed Apr 19, 2006 9:30 pm

Hi, Again. Thanks for showing me the directions for installing the 256 mb of memory. I should now have 512 total. When I now look at IBM_PRELOAD(C), it shows the capacity of 17.4 GB, USED 12.3 GB and 5.10 GB Free. Does that sound right? I thought I would get more than that? I guess I'm confused. Thanks, Susan

If you want to see how much memory is installed right click on the my computer icon, properties and look on the general tab, when you are talking about (C) that is your hard drive space. :)
