It seems to be a competitive price. Atleast, they aren't charging some ridiculous shipping fee.

Although, IBM/Lenovo is selling Certified used T2x batteries for $32, plus shipping WITH A 30 day warranty.. According to JHEM (admin here), he has purchased Certified Used batteries from IBM before and they only had 4-5 cycles.

Where the T30 battery will work in a T2*, the reverse isn't true. The T2* battery is a bit larger than the T30 battery.

I found some used T30 batteries for $25 each, They will be in tomorrow and I'll report on how good they are, then.

Yes, you are correct, the T30 will not accept the T2x batteries. I was under the impression that the OP had a T21, based on their signature.

Battery prices

#8 Post by BikerMike » Fri May 19, 2006 12:52 am

I just bought a pair of batteries for my T30 on eBay - a new, non-OEM main battery, and a used (but in good shape, as promised) Ultrabay battery. The main battery cost $39.99 plus $11.95 shipping and the Ultrabay battery cost $26.00 plus $8.95 shipping. I haven't tested yet to see how much of an improvement I bought - but I can already tell it's MUCH better than the 40 minutes I was getting out of my old main battery! Maximizer sez I can expect 4:30 plus hours out of the pair.
