Ultrabay Battery Problem

I've got an ultrabay battery that worked in my T22 but now shows "ERROR" in the Status tab of the Battery Information window of Thinkpad's Battery MaxiMiser Utility. There's also an X over the battery icon and no readings showing for the battery in the Status Detail and Information tabs. Any information or help regarding this is greatly appreciated.
