Can't power on my Thinkpad T20

I hadnot connect power cord and power on the Thinkpad for a week. I power on today. But nothing can see at the LCD. Anyone have suggestion?

First off, do you see any LED indicator lights on? does the fan start? do you get any audio indication that the system is running? try plugging in an external monitor into the VGA port and cycle Fn-F7 to see if the system is running.

If the system is running and you have a blank screen, then most likely the backlight is shot, do a search in the forum for backlight replacement. It is not hard to do and the parts should run no more than $50.00
