Thinkpad T30 would shutdown when plugged into docking

Does anyone have the solution to this problem.
Everytime I plug my T30 to a docking station the thinkpad would shut down. I already upgraded the bios

Did you plug in your T30 in the docking station in running mode? Or you shut it down first before plugging in?

I shut it down then plugged it in the docking station.
I push the power button ton the dock station and it won't even powerup.
