Update BIOS on T23 before installing XP

Hello all,

I am trying to install XP Home on my T23 2647-9KU. I have been having a hard time with the install. IBM asked me too update my BIOS before I install XP, can this be done, and if so, how? I do not have a floppy drive, only cd-rom. I have BIOS version 1.06a

BIOS Update (Non-Diskette) - ThinkPad T23

This procedure outlines the steps needed to download and install the BIOS update if you do not have a diskette drive. Most anything you need to find out about your Thinkpad can be found at:

http://www.ibm.com/help/us/en/help/

and then enter the search string(s) in the box at the top of the page. In this case it was "+t23 +bios +update".
