Can't get 2200BG card working with my T22

Can anyone give some help getting the Intel Wireless Pro 2200BG card going I just installed in my T22. The laptop is running Win 2000, The card is not showing any conflicts, it seems to be installed OK it just never connects, always has the red X on the icon. I have one small antenna connected to the main connector.

Any ideas?

If you go into your Network Connections, do you have a "bridge" between the wireless and the LAN connections?

No, I see no bridge. There is only 1 "Local Area connection" and the icon to "make new connection". With Win XP it's (the bridge) always been there. How do i create the bridge?
