Recovery Option (F11) Vanished - Please Help

I'm pretty new here, but need some help already.

I have somehow managed to completly mess up my edition of Windows XP Pro, and the F11 Recovery option does not appear upon starting my notebook anymore...its just gone. I never received a windows CD with my T30, and the recovery partition is all I have left to save my system.

So now my question is, how can I re-enable the F11 recovery Option? The recovery partition is still there...just the option to use it upon startup is gone. Any help is very very much appreciated!
