T23 screen and cpu questions

#1 Post by baoli » Thu Jul 13, 2006 1:56 pm

I have a few questions. A few weeks back, my T23 decided to take a crap. It was a 1.2ghz that I loaded up with an 80 gig drive and 768mb ram. The thing is, I have the one with the 1400x1050 screen. I'm currently bidding on this on eBay

I was wondering if the screens and cpus are interchangable throughout the T23 models. That's my plan, swap my screen, cpu, keyboard, ram, hd and wifi card over to the new base.

Also, would the screen work on a R32? That would be my backup plan. I have a R32, X20 and A21m that I use as well so if the screen wouldn't work in the base, I'll swap the screen over to the R32..

you would have to switch the entire upper lid over to the new t23.

only the screen will not work because the sxga+ does not fit into the upper lid of an xga upper lid

about the rest: sorry, dno

which part is the upper lid? Is it part of the palm rest or are you refering to the screen housing?

Screen housing. The screen housing of the T23 with WiFi is a little wider than the others.
