UltraBay issue!

Hi there,

Last night, whilst watching a DVD on my T22, the DVD drawer suddenly popped open for no apparent reason. Now it will not close!

The problem seems to be with the latch which is not clicking home.

I have removed the UltraBay drive, returned it, replaced it with one from my wife's T20 (which works fine,) but still the closing latch will not click home.

Is there any known solution apart from replacing the DVD-CD-ROM drive ?

Problem resolved (for the time being.)

Reinstalled the IBM EasyEject utility and the DVD latch is now latching again. Will see for how long!
