t23 dock problem -?- KEY control a switch for the power??

I have a type 2878 dock my T23 connects however it fails to maintain battery voltage have I failed to set something up or is it not compatable . I have looked for a chart/list of suitable docks for the T23 without sucess any help please thanks [/quote]

addition info The key was not provided as lock is apparently broken , USB is a hub and explains why they did not work.
power supply does not reveal any voltage across its pins 4 of them so a sensing system may well control output.
