thinkpad t30 motherboard

Hi,
After a quick bath of coca-cola it seems that my t30 is dead. Nothing seems to work. I have cleaned everything, all is dry. I'm thinking of changing the motherboard but it seems quite hard to find. So if anyone has an idea of where i could find one it would be really helpfull.
Before buying anything maybe I should test the board? no? but i do not really have any idea of how to do it. maybe the backup battery or the ram sticks can be dead as well?

after learning how to swim I'm gonna make my laptop learn how to fly!
hey seemts that there is nothing else to do. the second hand mother board I've found on internet are even more expensive thant the computer itself!

Chances are the board is dead. All it takes is a quick short anywhere on the board, and its toast.

If you are patient, you might find a replacement board on eBay for about $100.
