Identifying my T??

#1 Post by newyorkpaulie » Sun Oct 08, 2006 2:30 pm

I got my T20, or so it was named, on ebaY.
Love it, and see that it is named 2647MNU in the Machine type-Model
section of IBM's Thinkpad Configuration Software.
I tried to locate it using the tawbook but couldn't find it.
I also tried checking it on the Lenovo site without luck.
If anyone can help I'd like to nail this down.
Thanks.

T61's: 6460-08U, 6460-07u, 6457-6DU

You can go here:

http://www.ibm.com/help/us/en/help/

for general help with any IBM product. Entering 2647-MNU into the search box yields a list, the first of which is usually the system description for that particular model. In your case it is:

Product: ThinkPad T20 2647-MNU [change]
Operating system: All [change]

Original description: PIII 700MHz (256KB) 256MB RAM 12.0GB 14.1 XGA TFT 1024x768 6X-2.3X DVD Li-Ion Win2000

For product support, you can go directly here if you have the product number:
