Hey Guy's

You said that the NEC ND-6500 DVD writer will work in the T23.
Will the NEC ND-6500A also work?

Thanks, bud's

Hello. Did you have to use your original rails/connector & notch the faceplate? Thanks

what i did is i dismounted the ultrabay rails from my dvd rom and put them on the nec. ultrabay has a genuine connector.

as to the faceplate, i wanted the original ibm to go on the nec too. that was only possible by glueing. i used two-component glue and it holds REALLY fast. i mean breaking would break the whole thing.

note this is not possible with all drives, since the faceplates among the ultrabay ibm drives differ greatly.
