t23 xge or sxga

simple question.
lenovo states my 2647 9lu has sxga ( current dead back light, is on order tho) when i check fru or ibm numbers that model is not listed , been to manufactures web site also not listed? , so the vga connector on the panel has 20 pins is that a clue to type of panel , is there another way to tell .

If you go to the IBM web site, your T23 2647-9LU is a 14.1" SXGA lcd..........

i realise that should be the case according to how machine was shipped but for example it belives it also has 256mb ram when in fact it has 1.0gig so the listed spec is library only and not true as to today,i suspect that the panel has been changed but till backlight arrives , i may look to get another panel but sxga if it is xga only.
