1 gig cpu in T 20 2647-41u 348 memory

I installed a 1 gig cpu in a 700 mh T20 .The rig fired up after I cleared the bios by removing the 2nd system battery and then replacing it. After 10 or so minutes the heat build up causes the machine to freeze up or shut down. I installed NHC a notebook utility which showed me temps of 85+C . Any fixes to allow this CPU upgrade? Has any one successfully adapted a 1ghz CPU

You have to change the fan assembly as well. Use one from the T22. The part# should be 26P9317. And use a new thermal compound.
