This has me scratching my head. I installed a new Hitachi hard drive in my T23 this evening, installed XP and then installed my ethernet card setup utillities, plugged in the ethenet card, the hardware wizard starts, when prompted I directed the wizard to the location of the ethernet card's drivers. Wizard says none of the files are for my card.
Re-installed XP, and the card drivers, same thing.
Took the new hard drive out and plugged in the old hard drive, booted into XP and the card is recognized and works. Burned the card drivers onto a cdrw, swapped the hard drives and copied the drivers to the new HD. HW Install Wizard still says it cant find the drivers for the card.
I have the same version of XP from same XP disk on both hard drives. Device manager lists both the PCMCIA ports as normal and operating.
Is there something else that needs installed like an XP supplement?
