Hi guys, how can I solve this issue as stated in the subject?

I'm using T30 Thinkpad.

Thanks!

Welcome!

Just a guess (since I do not have a T30), check the following keys to see if they are stuck down:

Left ALT
"k"
"9"
"w"
Left CTRL

There are several scancode systems being used for keyboards. I'm not sure which one that the T30 uses, but check the keys I've listed.

hmm, i can't really see any physically stuck keys on my keyboard... including those that you mentioned.

i think it could be some internal circuitry keyboard wiring that causes it to register as stuck..

anyway, i tried to swap the keybd with another one of my spare T30 and it works now. Thanks!
