You can get those new screws from IBM/Lenovo in a packet. Those are nylon coated screws where you can only use it once.cyanide959 wrote:<snip>where i can even get new screws for it?

I just posted a recommendation on a screwdriver set in another topic:

Not really. I mean, they say that, but companies say a lot of things that you don't need to listen to. After a few uses they may not hold as well, true, but just don't over-torque them.NS wrote:Those are nylon coated screws where you can only use it once.

Yea sure, Pittsburgh (or "Pittsuburgh" as the OP so aptly put it) is but a stones throw from Philly...
You trust dollar store screwdrivers? They chip easy...but I guess one shouldn't be so rough on them. Sometimes a stubborn screw and a cheap screwdriver=stripped screw. But you knew that already.

That is why I am very careful. I have only had 2 of the screwdrivers screw up (pun intended) on me. One stripped itself, the other separated between the handle the the screwdriver part.dsigma6 wrote:Yea sure, Pittsburgh (or "Pittsuburgh" as the OP so aptly put it) is but a stones throw from Philly...
