Upgrading RAM in my ThinkPad T21 2647-8AU

I have a 1300i 1171 8XU which was not supposed to go beyond 192Mb of ram and it is running 312Mb of PC100 with no problems.

Can you go beyond the 512Mb Limit? Has anyone done this?

The 64MB onboard memory can't be removed, right? So 320MB is the most you can get.

BTW, why does your subject refer to a T21? The T21 can have 2x256MB modules.

EDIT: I see what's happening. You also have a T21, for which you started another thread, and you accidentally swapped the two in the subjects!
