Pinouts for display and keyboard/mouse in T2x

#1 Post by weirded » Mon Feb 05, 2007 4:38 pm

I'm trying to turn a broken T21 into a portable KVM console of sorts to do maintenance work on headless servers (I know, sounds like a crazy idea). Anybody know where I could find pinouts of the various connectors?

Does this seem possible, or no? One problem I'm sure is that the display is driven directly, not from an analog VGA source.

Google with 'vga pinout', 'ps/2 pinout', etc.
Results include pictures with diagrams

Right... I'm actually looking for the *internal* pinouts (since these laptops don't have an input where you can hook up a VGA source to be displayed on the display).

FYI
its extremely unlikely the LCD would use any standard interface. Most of the time its the basic lcd controller.. but you owuld need an expensive adapter to get the LCD working with a normal VGA signal.
