DVD burner for T30

I bought one of those DVD burners off of ebay. Just got it, it's in an IBM carrier, slipped the cd burner out and the DVD burner in and it was up and running, even came with the OEM Nero. It's an NEC drive in there, 8X. So far so good, $80. Now I just have to wait for the new hard drive and then suse goes on it.

Thats great news, I am planning to get one for my T23. I think the T30 still used the Ultra2000 bay port.

Yeehaaa, it works, reads DVD+R's now for a torrent download and a burn test....

Technically, it's a UB2K "Enhanced" which just means that it's capable of taking the UB Carrier that can be fitted with either the C500/505 dock or the numberpad.

I put an refurb NEC DL DVD Burner in my T23 which has since moved on to the T30 and it's been great!
