T30 Memory slot issue

What are the symptoms of the memory slot issue ? I'm curious becasue I pulled the front stick out and left the rear one in then brought the box up. It seemed OK except for firefox acting a bit strange and freezing but that might have been a network issue here with our T1's..
Main reason I would like to know is that I'd like to take advange of any warranty issues now.
