New battery charge advice?

Hello.

This is my first post here, but I have been a reader for some time.

I bought a new battery for my T23 and I was wondering how long I should charge it for the first time and can I use the computer at the same time?

And another thing.
The little plastic caps that are over all screws, they are glued with something sticky what kinda glue have people used to get these back on?

Four hours should be more than enough to guarantee a full charge. With it being a new battery, you may want to charge/discharge a few times to ensure accurate an power reading. You can use the laptop while it's charging, but it'll probably charge a little faster if it's powered off.

For the screw covers, I'd try using some rubber cement or something. That way, you can still take them off if you need to.

I use double-sided scotch-tape/sellotape. Works like a charm, is removable, and is less messy than cement.
