Resume from hibernate

#1 Post by Rex » Sat Mar 31, 2007 4:10 am

Hi there,

My T22 hibernates in about 15 to 20 seconds, although I have not timed it.

But upon waking, it takes close to two minutes to get the desktop up again. Is there anything I can do to speed-up the reawakening?

I always hibernate from the desktop, so there are not applications open or running.

Many thanks,

Rex

I'm here with you listening for an answer, as I eventually disabled hibernate due to the long wake up times, twice it would not even wake up. Mine took the same 20-30 seconds to go down.

I have not disabled it, but I rarely use it. Suspend is better, but in the long run, I figure it is best to power down and flush the electronics, etc..

try to uninstall the intel IDE driver [or intel app accelerator] and let windows use the default driver.
i did this on my T23 and the hibernate time went down from 1 minute [counted] to less than 10sec!! and wakes up every time...
