T23 Won't boot

Here's one for ya.

I'm giving my girlfriend a T23 for her birthday. I ran the Hard drive through Norton Wipe, and cleaned everything off of it. (first mistake). Then I started up the system, and got a blank screen. So I took out the hard drive again, and noticed that when I flipped it upside down, i heard something that sounded loose inside. Well I dropped it (accidentally) (my second mistake). Now when I put it back in and start it up again, it beeps once, and then says Remove disks or other media. Press anykey to restart. Thing is, there's no disks in anywhere! and when I press any key, it just shows the message again!

The rattling noise is normal, my drive does that. I would guess that when you ran Norton Wipe, you deleted Windows along with everything else. Just pop in a Windows install disk and reinstall, and everything should work. Note you will need to download all of the drivers from Lenovo to get full functionality.
