What T2x's come with the 1400x1050 lcd??And ram question?

I was looking at the IBM HMM for the T20/21/22/23's and it says that the T21/22/23's can come with 3 diffrent lcd's.
the 13.3 at 1024x768
the 14.1 at 1024x768
and 14.1 at 1400x1050
How rare are the ones with the 1400x1050?
Do thay mostly show up on the higher T22's or T23's?
If i get a T22 with the smaller LCD can you install the bigger lcd on it?
And what about the ram.
The HMM showes it has 128 megs ram onboard.
But say's a max of 512 ram.
But if you put two 256's in + the 128 onboard that would give you 640.
How do this work?
Can you only install one 256 and a 128 in the slots with the 128 onboard will give you 512.

The T20 did not have an SXGA+ option (1400x1050). Only a handful T21's had that option. The T22 and T23 are the ones you will likely find that will have an SXGA+ LCD.

Yes you can install a bigger LCD, but you will need the correct bezel and video cable. Note that with the T21, you can only install an SXGA+ LCD in those model that came from the factory with that option.

The RAM question, the T2x came with base amount of 128 MB. The T20/21/22 are upgradeable to 512MB (2x256MB PC100), the T23 can go up to 1GB (2x512MB PC133).
I have finally rejoined the dark side.

Thanks for the info.
So would this mean if you install two 256's in the T20/21/22 that you would have to disable the 128 onboard ram some how?
What happends to the extra 128 megs when you put in two 256's?
Sorry if i'm not makeing much sence but the numbers dont add up...

None of the T series have any onboard RAM.

What is listed under RAM in the documentation is what RAM was installed in the units when they shipped from the factory, not MB mounted RAM.

Any early T series (e.g. T20, T21, T22) will max out at 512MB with two sticks of 256MB lo-density RAM, primarily available oas PC100 but some PC133 sticks will work as well.

Any T23 system will max out at 1GB with two sticks of 512MB PC133 RAM.

The T30 systems will max out a 2GB RAM with two sticks of 1GB PC2100 or PC2300 RAM.
