thinkpad T2* cases

can i use a T21 case to put my T23 in it?
are they 100% compatible?
i actually need only the keyboard bezel 'cause mine is cracked and i had to superglue some plastic bands to actually stick and last.

And:
a friend of mine needs the LCD top cover for his T23...

so do they work?

I'm pretty sure the T23 motherboard will not fit in the earlier T series base plastics - the T23 has a larger Mini PCI bay as it also houses the socket for the ethernet card (the earlier t series had combined modeom ethernet cards) and there may be other issues too that I'm sure more knowledgeable members will list.
The bezel is also different as the heatsink/fan on the t23 is larger, so there is nore plastic on the side of the earlier t series bezel. It can be made to fit a t23 base using a scalpel and light glass paper, but a proper t23 one will always be better.

As far as I have found the lcd plastics are the same for all models with the proviso that the 13.3" and 14.1" are of course different due to the different size lcd panels.

At the very least, wireless models have different screen plastics, but the T23 might also have slightly different than the earlier Ts.

so this purchase is a no-go...the T21 case was with a 13" LCD screen so that would be another no

i'm searching for a case for my t23 for quite some time now but here in Romania there aren't that many thinkpadders [not old school anyway] and the parts are few and far between them...
