Any difference in running 640mb ram vs 1024mb ram on a t23?

I have a t23 1.13ghz system running 640mb ram.

Would my system run any noticeably faster with 1024mb ram.

Probably not, depending what programs are running. Basic word processing, surfing or lite editing run fine even at 256 or 384. I run at 1024mb just because. At least I know mostly everything will run.

If you paid for her RAM, I would immediately force entry into her residence and swap your 128 for her 512.

Then consider "acquiring" her T23 altogether.

But yea, the difference between 640 and 1024 isn't going to matter for most people, unless you like to see 6 or 700 MB free all the time.

Her t23 is nice and all, but mine has got built in wireless. I'll never go back to PCMCIA cards again.

If I ever get the chance, I may do a serendipitous switch.

Her hard drive has a really weird occasional knocking/tocking sound, so I'll pass on it.
