Noisy fan in my T30
Noisy fan in my T30
I have bought my T30 -2366 JBG a month ago and it seems its fan is too noisy - in my opinion - when activated. Does it normal or not? It is an "whimper" nois.
Thanks for advice.

i did not think those fans could be oiled..
a better description of the noise would be helpful..
or even a recording of the noise, attached as a file..?

I did the same thing with my t30 and it works. After that fan as quiet as in new system, maybe even more.xtr wrote:Bill, I've done the oiling thing on my T30 heatsink fan and it worked.

Re: Noisy fan in my T30
I have done a recording my fan noise but I do not know how to attach this wav file here. I am decided to grease this fan. But how to despatch its cover? And where drop an oil?. Thanks for all advise. there's an disassembling instruction, with pictures.
Where to oil - you'll understand, it's easy.
