Possible to control the keyboard light from scripts?

#1 Post by wrybread » Mon Jun 11, 2007 4:20 pm

I'm wondering if it's possible to control the "thinklight" (the keyboard light) from scripts under Windows?

I know it is under Linux:

I'm wondering if anyone's figured out a way to do this under Windows?

It must be. The presentation director can automatically turn the thinklight on and off. I believe the key is actually mapped in windows too, so a macro might be a possible solution. My t30 is waiting for a diagnosis on the hard drive and controller right now, but I'll try this later on. I've been interested in doing this myself and using a light sensor to automate it, so post back if you find something.
