T30-battery-power pack question

The Battery symbol LED indicator on one of my two T30 Laptops just began operating different than ever before.

91% was showing on task bar and bat LED was green when on battery. When power was applied to AC pack, I heard a beep, bat LED color changed to orange with 90% showing and remained orange. Turned off AC pack power and bat LED became green again with 89% showing.

When ever I turn on power to AC pack, 5-7 seconds later, bat LED turns orange and remains orange. Bat LED on this T30 does this with two both AC pack.
Orange LED remains orange regardless if T30 is running, is off, is sleeping when AC pack is powered on.

The other T30 bat LED acts normal at 93% showing.

Does this indicate a problem?
With battery pack?
With internal T30 bat LED circuits?
or
With something else?
or
should I do something?

Why is LED orange with over 90% capacity showing?

I haven't had the best luck buying batteries on eBay. Some of the others here have fared a little better.
