Hi folks,
I replaced my T21's motherboard last month which solved lots of running issues. However, very occasionally it will now just "click" and power down completely. No reboot, just a complete shutdown like all the power has been cut.
Could this be temperature related? I can feel the fan coming on and blowing out hot air while it's running. I didn't put new grease on the processor - there was a decent film of the old still there.
Any thoughts?

It could be the temp. If you don't already have it, install MobileMeter. It will display your CPU & HDD temp.
At complete idle, the CPU temp should be around 40°C. Under load, the fanshould come on below 80°C and keep the CPU temp below 80°C. At least, that's what it does on my T21 with a 1GHz CPU.
If the temp gets any higher than that, it would be a good idea to clean off the old heatsink compound and put on some new. There are several topics in this T2x forum that discuss applying heatsink compound, like Artic Silver 5.
Its also possible that your replacement mobo came with its own powering off problem.
