T23 bad flash no boot

Ciao from Italy!

I 've bought an used T23, everything work still i decide (sgrunt) for a bios update, during the fkash process, the t23 freeze, and now wont boot

t23 2548/rg1, B system boards
win xp
freeze on boot, varius ramdom coulored pixel on screen, no bios access
beep without memory
fan is running

i must change the system boards?
i can do the tsop reflash? (desolding, reflash with external programmer, resolding)

my first thinkpad.., my first badflash problem in 15 years!

Yes, i know, thank's for link!, but the question is reprogramming my bios! not for the money but for fun and tecnical experience!
Anyone know if i Can use the .fl1 in ibm bios redestribution file for reprogramming tsop?

Will it boot to a diskette drive?

If it does, it can be reprogrammed. The flash program used in the IBM diskette is called Phlash and it can be used directly from the A: prompt.

I would assume you can do the same on an external programmer.

Have you thought of just finding the right pins and just wiring them to another ThinkPad instead. Removing the chip and resoldering sounds like a lot of work to me.
